December 9 A Virtual Swapmeet,what a brilliant idea! I am looking for a Resin/Plastic model of the Mk 3 Ford Zodiac, It was sold during the mid 60's, mine was bought in Woolworths it was about 1/18 scale and had opening reartrunk/Bootlid. Whoever produced it,(I suspect that it was Marx) also did the Mk X Jag, which also had opening rear trunk/Bootlid. Any info or pictures would be much appreciated.

November 24 I have Meccano Magazines that includes everything from #1 except that #1,2,3,4,6,7,8,11 are repros. They are ALL with covers and are as near mint as makes no difference! Most are bound by "Duncan's" who were the original binders for Meccano Ltd., but some are bound to look the same as Duncan's. Details are: Bound from issue 14 (Sept/Oct 1920) in BLUE to end of 1927, (These are not Duncan's bindings).The rest are bound in MAROON to end of 1972.(A few of these maroon years' are not Duncan's, but look like them) The bindings are "professional" in quality throughout. Most are leather bound! I would sell them, but I prefer to exchange them for other items I collect, such as Tinplate toys, "O" gauge locos, Flying model aeroplane items, (engines in particular, but also anything else including Model Aeroplane (flying sort!) magazines previous to 1955). I can provide digital photos of anything over the 'net if required. Offer me anything else if you like - I can always say no! I also have Electron, Kemex, Part#167 ( all near mint and boxed) etc. I might consider loose copies of MM's in similar condition and period, in part exchange too if of any help! David Lloyd-Jones. July 03 I have been trying to track down small, plastic one-piece toy cars from the early - to middle 50s. Sold in plastic bags in dime stores and grocery stores, 20 or so to a package. About an inch - inch and a half long, each molded in one color, wheels and all. Each had the car's make in raised letters on the trunk. Mostly images of American cars, there were a few European cars as well. They were perfect additions to the Kenner girder & panel/highway sets available in the late 50s/early '60s. April 28 I have a large Marklin Special construction set (similar to Meccano), originally produced in the 1930's and reissued as a Limited Edition in 1991. It comprises more than 1400 pieces (plus over 3200 nuts and bolts) and builds a DO-X Seaplane with a rotating presentation stand. (Fuselage length 100cm. or 39", Wing span 120cm. or 47") The set is mint and unused and contained in its original, strong wooden box and includes comprehensive construction details in a coloured booklet. This item was purchased in 1991 and as I am, reluctantly, no longer likely to build it, it is for sale at GBP 450 + carriage (from Northumberland UK).
